Accessories

I adore adding buttons, beads, embellishments - cool things onto garments so if you have any specific ideas of what you'd like, do say ! If it's wood you like, or pastel tones - it adds a lot to the design

Shapes

I am interested in making basic pieces of knitwear and less basic. If you have an idea then it would be fun to try and fulfil it. No shape let alone size should be dismissed so don't be put off. OLIVEWOOL will always be accessible, inclusive, ethical and sensibly priced

Choose fibres

The yarns I own are often discontinued (no sold new anymore) or second-hand. This means every piece of knitwear is even more limited and therefore the work I make evolves rapidly. If you like wool, I can give you some choices. There are vegan fibres such as cotton, linen and polyester - lots of pathways to explore

Slow fashion

One thing that knitting takes up is time, labour is more rigorous and does take longer. Be aware that it could be up to a 7 week wait depending on the complexity, size and type of garment
